The Museum Steamship "Skjelskør"

S/S Skjelskør was built at J. Ring Andersens Steelshipyard on Frederiksøen in Svendborg. Where the ship was launched on the 5^th of December 1914 with the name SKJELSKØR (III). On the 13^th of March the ship had her trials in the waters around Svendborg and reached a speed of 7.5 knots. After the trials the ship was surrendered to Dampskibsselskabet Skjelskør and was put on the route between Skælskør and the islands Agersø and Omø.
